Here’s What to Expect at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 🎃👻✨
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World between August and October, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is honestly one of the BEST special events at Magic Kingdom 👀
It’s a separate ticketed event that takes place on select nights and includes exclusive entertainment, trick or treating around the park, rare characters in Halloween costumes, themed snacks and merch, plus much lower wait times for rides compared to regular park days 🙌
One of the best things about the party is that you can enter Magic Kingdom from 4PM, even though the event officially starts later in the evening – so you get extra time in the park too.

Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade 🎃
This is probably one of the biggest highlights of the whole event. You’ll see Disney characters in Halloween costumes, spooky floats and dancers – plus the iconic Headless Horseman rides through Magic Kingdom before the parade starts.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular ✨
If you love Hocus Pocus, this is SUCH a fun show. The Sanderson Sisters take over the castle stage alongside Disney villains with music, projections and special effects.
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks 🎆
The Halloween fireworks show at Cinderella Castle is exclusive to the event and honestly so good. Expect projections, fireworks and loads of Disney Halloween magic.
Trick-or-Treating Around Magic Kingdom 🍬
There are treat trails all around the park where you can collect sweets throughout the night, and it’s all included with your ticket. Disney even provide treat bags when you enter the party.
Characters in Halloween Costumes 👀
One of the BEST parts of the party. There are loads of rare character meet and greets, plus so many characters appear in their Halloween costumes which you don’t normally get to see during regular park days.
Dance Parties & Entertainment 🎶
There’s entertainment happening all over Magic Kingdom throughout the night, from dance parties and DJs to live performers and themed music.
NEW for 2026 – A Masquerade with Stitch 💙 A brand new entertainment experience is coming to Tomorrowland this year! Stitch, Lilo and Angel will host a fun masquerade party at Rockettower Plaza Stage, with Stitch constantly changing costumes throughout the night.
Exclusive Snacks & Halloween Merch 🍿
There are also loads of limited edition Halloween snacks, themed drinks, popcorn buckets and party-exclusive merch available during the event.
Is It Worth It?
If you love Disney at Halloween, I honestly think this event is such a good experience 🧡 The atmosphere in Magic Kingdom feels completely different during party nights and there’s SO much going on across the park.
It’s especially worth it if:

– You want lower ride wait times
– You’re visiting Orlando during spooky season
– Your family loves themed events and entertainment

– Arrive from 4PM to get the most out of your ticket
– Prioritise your must-do shows and characters before you arrive
– Bring an extra bag for all the trick-or-treat sweets 😅
