Packed with outdoor adventures, exciting activities and plenty of opportunities to get everyone involved, it’s the sort of place where hours fly by. Whether you’re tackling giant slides, exploring the famous Crocky Trail, grabbing lunch from the café or enjoying a picnic in the sunshine, there’s always something to do.
It’s a proper family day out where everyone joins in, making it one of our favourite outdoor attractions in the North West.

What’s on Offer
The Crocky Trail is a full-day outdoor adventure packed with activities for the whole family.
Your ticket includes access to the adventure park, giant slides, rides, activity areas and, of course, the famous Crocky Trail itself. There are also plenty of picnic benches and open spaces if you want to bring your own lunch, alongside an on-site café serving hot food, drinks, snacks and ice creams.
It’s the sort of place where you can arrive when it opens and still have plenty to keep everyone entertained until it’s time to head home.
Activities
There’s so much to discover throughout the park, but the highlight has to be the famous Crocky Trail.
As you make your way around the trail, you’ll swing through the trees on rope swings, test your balance across wobbly bridges over the Crocky Stream, race friends through winding mazes, spin on giant roundabouts and tackle climbing challenges and obstacles along the way, all whilst enjoying the fresh air and beautiful countryside that surrounds you. We took around two hours to make our way around the trail, but that’s one of the things we loved most about it – you can go as fast or as slow as you like.
Away from the trail, you’ll also find giant drop slides, sports games, climbing equipment and plenty of activities dotted around the park, meaning there’s always something new to discover.
Our favourite had to be Titanic! It’s one of those attractions that had us going back for “just one more go” and quickly became a favourite with the whole family.
One thing we loved most was that it’s designed for everyone. The adults can join in just as much as the kids, giving the whole place a fun, relaxed family atmosphere where everyone gets involved.

Parking is free and located directly outside the entrance, making arriving and leaving nice and easy.

Why We Love It
What makes The Crocky Trail so special is that it offers something a little different.
Rather than rushing from one attraction to the next, the whole experience encourages you to explore, climb, swing, slide and simply have fun together. Every corner of the park offers something new to discover, making it feel like one big adventure from start to finish.
We also love how family-focused it is. There aren’t many places where the adults have just as much fun as the kids, but The Crocky Trail is definitely one of them. Whether you’re racing through mazes, taking on the rope swings or braving the giant slides, it’s somewhere you’ll make memories together.
It’s muddy, it’s active, it’s chaotic in the best possible way… and that’s exactly why we’d happily visit again.

Good To Know
If you’re planning on tackling the giant slides, we’d definitely recommend wearing long sleeves, long trousers and old trainers. It can be a proper muddy, wet day out… but that’s all part of the fun!
You’ll need trainers for the main activities and rides, but if you’re visiting on a wet day, we’d also recommend bringing a pair of wellies for the trail. It may even be worth packing some spare clothes because things can get muddy very quickly!
Dogs are welcome throughout the park but must be kept on a lead at all times.
The trail has a pushchair and wheelchair-friendly route. However, the venue advises that this can become waterlogged after heavy rain, so it’s worth giving them a call on the morning of your visit if you’re unsure.
